Three Steps Jennifer covers as her Success Factors.
1) Get Clear about what it is you want to do. Focus on it and if you are not clear do NOT even begin. You must have a passion because when it gets tough and it will as it is not easy to start a business, your passion will keep you going.
2) Put on Blinders to the Nay sayers and you could even be one yourself. Let go when something doesn’t excite you.
3) Persistence: Get up, Get out and Get going!
Find the areas you are passionate about and find your niche. Jennifer talks about my passion and how I help companies on the social media with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIN. Of the 3 social media arenas I have the most passion for is Facebook. For those of you in business please don’t say, oh that is just for kids. The largest group of users on facebook today is those 35-54 age group. There is a right and wrong way to use Facebook for Business. Just make sure you are using it correctly or if you need help, please contact me.
Karen, I have not met Jennifer Tobias as of yet. However this Wednesday I will get that chance. She has a Meet up Group I plan on attending called Power Planning 2-0-1-1 with Jennifer Tobias. I’ll let you know how it goes. Looking forward to attending this Workshop.

Thanks for the comment. You will absolutely love her. She has such energy and such a great motivator. I am planning to attend the same event but I have it down for Thurs evening.
Just stumbled onto this article and while its a bit dated, these success factors are still very relevant. #3 is my favorite. As they say, persistence pays!
