Spam or Scam

Those pulling Scams are putting a lot of Spam in our in boxes.  Scary thing is they can steal identity, scan your contact info, steal contacts and the worst give you a virus that will shut down your computer..

Triggers to watch for:

First of all if it comes up spam in your spam filters #1 clue.. Be very cautious and we are not just talking about Facebook which is what they are referencing on this particular one..

Second if it has all email addresses that start with the same first name BIG clue. do not click on any links

Third if it is relating to social sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Pinterest.. never click on those links, go directly to the sign in page like you normally would and go from there to sign in… Many times this are phishing schemes trying to get your passwords and personal information..

Be cautious… better to be safe than sorry!
