You ask the question who cares what I post on Social Media…  YOU Should!  You should care because if you don’t have a strategy you are wasting your time.  If I didn’t have a strategy for my clients I would be wasting their money.

What are you trying to accomplish with your Social Media?

Are you trying to create lead generation?  This can mean you are searching for  potential clients for your sales force or it could be to build you most valuable asset.  Your List!   If that is the case, what are you willing to give in order to receive?  If you want them to share their email address with you so you can market to them in the future what are you willing to give?

Could be:

  • A Free Report
  • The top 10 reason
  • Free coaching session
  • Video series..

Clients ask me what they should use as their give away.  It is whatever your clients are willing to step up and give you their email address for.

Branding

Are you just putting your great content out so people start to recognize your brand?  You can create  Lead Generation and Branding at the same time if it is done well.  When you are preparing  to Brand make sure your brand is well defined and is the same across all platforms.  When I go to any of your sites from your Website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube or Pinterest I should KNOW I am at your site..  It needs to flow, look  similar and have the same feel to it .  If they question if it is you, you have just lost your influence for ANYTHING.. They will move on to the next company.  Make sure you use the correct sizes for your images to build your brand professionally!

Website Traffic

This is typically the ideal reason to use social media since most of your information is housed on your website.  Your website theoretically is the hub of the wheel and all your other means of marketing are the spokes that bringing them right back to your website.   This is where you can influence a prospective customer to make that sale, or influence to consider using you or your services in a much greater way.     If you don’t know what your reasons are to use Social Media, please feel free to contact me for a social media strategy consult.
